Born in 1973, graduated from the Faculty of Forestry at Warsaw Agricultural University and the Faculty of Photography at the Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Lodz. Initially, traditional wildlife photography was my main field of interest and a source of income.

During my studies at the Television and Theatre School and much thanks to my supervisor Marian Schmidt I became fascinated by Minor White’s and Paul Caponigro’s expressive photography. This fascination in turn has inspired my further work.

I am a lecturer at the Warsaw School of Photography.
